If you have kids and they have used your paypal account for any of the games on facebook etc - I had let my daughter play farmville and some horse game that are real popular on FB right now..
But, it doesn't matter if you uncheck the boxes not to cache your password- the games ARE REMEMBERING THEM.
I caught a $130 transaction via an email alert that a game on facebook was ringing up. I know for a fact that I did not leave any check boxes to cache my password enabled. The game remembered. Daughter took her computer home and her lil sis was sitting there buying something in the game...
I work in DOD IT Security so it's a safe assumption I'm VERY cautious with my identity and account numbers.
The real kicker is, despite paypal/facebook fixing it IMMEDIATELY, it's a 5-10 day wait to get your money back.
30 seconds to take it, 5-10 days to get it back. WRONG!
I had another transaction that went haywire here, the SH member made it right and sent a check, but the pain in the ass I had to go through gave, INCLUDING FEES, gave me a bad taste for paypal and I will be closing my account.
Your identity is not safe wtih paypal any longer unless you change your password on a daily basis.
