Feedback Paypal and Venmo caught me

Just a PSA, I was kicked off both PayPal and Venmo earlier today. I never use any comments in my transactions, and somehow they caught me and suspended my accounts. I will be switching to GunTab moving forward.

Venmo is essentially PayPal which is one of the most freedom hating companies out there.

Try using Zelle.

Tons of things out there command high dollar amounts though. You could be buying high end watches or something. Weird to say the least though.

I'd say your past transactions are also catching up to you as well.. If some of you contacts have had gun transactions and you have a history with some of them.. That's the first thing that came to my mind.. Yes as AI is probably putting 2 and 2 together..

I believe it sometimes has to do with who you are receiving or sending money to as well.

also, does your user name match (or similar to) your email address/paypal user id? the AI could be combing this site..

PP seized my account something like 7 years ago.....over a holster from BEFORE they banned gun stuff. They actually tried to withdraw funds from my account after banning me but my bank squashed it. A buddy who owns a pawnshop had to sue them to retrieve almost 7 grand they seized.

I’d expect they’re mapping transactions with AI, assigning some kind of probability to accounts engaging in ToS abuse, then banning those accounts.

It's most likely the crackdown on F&F large amount transactions. They know it's G&S and they are shutting it down. The fact that you have zero notes, I doubt they can justify that it's "firearm" related shutdown.

It's a myth that PayPal banned paying for gun related stuff. They don't allow paying for guns themselves but gun related stuff is not an issue with them. I probably buy $10K to $20K worth of gun stuff on ebay every year and use PayPal.

What will get you looked at is continually sending F&F to a different person every time.

Another thing that will get you looked at and banned is if you are constantly receiving money from different people via F&F. They will request you provide taxpayer info if it seems to be a pattern and report you to the IRS. If you fail to provide tax info they will ban you. Once reported to the IRS you will have to justify why the money was sent to you and you didn't pay tax on it. That's not a PayPal thing, that's a POS Joe Biden thing.
