PayPal change their system?

Guys that have purchased something recently, did PayPal ask you the seller's name and country of origin? I don't remember that being a question before.

If you find its not due to a fat finger typo, make sure whoever you are buying from is legit and not trying to scam you. The seller’s PayPal should show up below once you type the full email address. If it doesn’t (or if it’s asking you for weird shit like you mentioned) its a red flag.

Also, if there are additional fees charged to send funds to the email address, it's a scam, probably a hacked account.
