PayPal off rocker?

This is only one more reason I will never use PP again. Of the four transactions I have made with PP they have cost me money.
If only SH members refused to use their services we could make a difference. Paypal should be investigated for putting a twenty one day hold on your funds because they claim you are not a frequent user of their services. Trying to force you to use their services and placing your funds in a interest bearing account for their profit. This is illegal and is fraud.

Private company can turn away any kind of service for *nearly any reason.
Other private companies will replace the niche they once filled..

That's the line they want you to believe as a conservative... that they should be able to get away with anything they want as a "Private company"...

Such a load of BS.... Look what the government does when you say "fine I'll bake you any cake you want, but I won't write something I don't agree with on it, I'll just give you the stuff to put whatever text you want on it yourself"..... Oh suddenly the government should come in and destroy their business, fine them into bankruptcy and leave them on the street because.... you violated somebody's "right"

These big multi national corporations are NOT "Private companies" (Specifically they are not "private" as per even government classifications) but rather huge multi national conglomerates that are happy to abide by a whole bunch of rules, laws and regulations, as long as those ones suit the view point of the SJW communist zealots that run them.

Time to stop agreeing with the lies the Communists want you to believe.

Schulman stated that the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville in 2017 was a "defining moment" for the decision. That moment caused them to expand their brand-reputation group to serve as a monitor of their customers in an effort to silence hate speech.
"Because the line between free speech and hate, nobody teaches it to you in college. Nobody's defined it in the law," stated Schulman. "The reason we had to expand the group is because websites may say something, but the links they have can link to hateful material and videos. You can't look at a headline and make a determination. You have to spend time to really think about it."

thats because " hate speech" is "free speech".........legally you cant restrict "hate" speech and still claim to have "free" speech.....

the fact is....sometimes people are going to say things you dont like.....that doesnt mean you have a right to silence them.

what they are essentially saying is THEY want to be the arbiters of what you can and cannot say.....they want to have the ability to ruin you if you dont agree with them.....and to that, they can go fuck themselves.

This is a paradigm that the current liberal/communist movement wants to change. If you do not agree lock-step with their ideology you have no opinion or voice and are not welcome at their party. The party of inclusion needs to change their name to the party of delusion and exclusion.

PP is the AntiChrist. It has been said, talked about, written about, complained about, and 'threaded about here' so many times over the years....

And yet to some this is still new. Still a surprise. Still a 'shock.' How about if we, as humans, just start calling it hitlerPal. Maybe THEN, the point and concept of it all will start to get across? You think?

hitlerPal..... has a "sour ring" to it, don't it?

I'm simply stating the logical cause and effect of a free market, which is polar to communism. However, your entire post could almost be used verbatim as one elaboration of my asterisk. I don't think anyone is entitled to buy a fucking thing if a seller doesn't desire to sell it to them, for any reason. If folks want to use their business to commit actual crimes for profit and then can have a nice blocker for when the law comes down, that don't suit me either.

I have used PayPal for nearly 20 yrs now.
I’ve had several run ins with them that have cost me $$$ every single time and not one of those instances were my fault. They are so convenient to use, I stay with them. Their new tax rules though are ridiculous.

My question is, what other company out there is like them? I’m a Huuuuge eBayer, and even eBay, who at onetime owned PP, is slowly eliminating them from eBay.

PayPal is fucked regardless, only a matter of time.

As much as I would enjoy watching PP go tango uniform, I'll be surprised if it happens...at least because of this. The average citizen will never hear of this. Of those who do, many just won't care. Look at the number of members here who find it too "convenient" to drop.

ebay sold off Paypal few years back, I did notice that also .. I did see more ebay vendors not offering it as a pay option .
There was something going on behind the the scenes on the billion-$$$$$ transaction, ??? but now, I see again paypal working accepting ebay back into the finance processing more .
.

They still accept PayPal, but many thousands of eBay sellers no longer accept PayPal. EBay is offering some other form of payment option now
