Pelican 1750 and others on sale

Yesterday I saw the the 1750 was on sale online at cabelas for $179 and I had just gotten an email for buy 150 get 20 off. I printed 4 of the email coupon and went to the store and they honored the $179 so with the coupons I got 2 for $159 each.

I also picked up 4 boxes of Federal Sierra Game king 308 for $25.99 and a 1450(honored the online sale price) for $89-20=69 another great deal

Plus federal has a rebate offer through cabelas for premium center fire. buy 4 boxes get $20 rebate.

great deal had to pass on.

Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered one for $179. Shipping was about $19 plus a large/heavy box upcharge of $8 for a total of $27 shipping. BUT,if your order includes a clothing or footwear item, the code 92PENNY gets 1 cent shipping plus the $8 upcharge. $8.01 for that huge box is a deal.

crap - I just priced some of the same foam thats used in these boxes. For 3 pieces of foam 16" wide x 4' long x 2.5" thick its $170. This is from a foam store - not Pelican. They said prices have gotten so high they don't even stock it anymore, but order it precut from their wholesaler. I mean crap - its just foam.

I told them its cheaper to by the friggen pelican - I buy the foam, and get a $10 pelican case thrown in for free.

So, long story short, get the pelican case, its just a cheap as the foam...

Thanks for the heads up guys. I just ordered one, been looking for a while and this price I couldn't pass up. Just and fyi they have a 92flat code that saved me on shipping. I think it was $5 flat rate plus the $8 fee.

I had to $20 off coupon. I am a Cabela's Club Visa member. I already used the $20 off coupon this past weekend because I think it was only good through 9/11/12...
