Hey guys, I was curious if anyone knows the difference between the gen 1 and gen 2 pelican 1700 series rifle cases? Searched around the internet and really couldn't find any answer. But I'm not the most tech savvy. Thanks in advance.

The originals didn't have wheels, I have an old 1750. They also updated the snap closures in the newer to keep from coming undone easily. And perhaps thinner thus slightly lighter but it ain't much.........

What if mine have fixed handle and wheels? Does that make mine a gen 1.5?
