Not only have they taken over, they are destroying it at a rapid pace. I don't see them being able to go back towards the center. I watched Kennedy's follow up speech last night and he is the future of the party. He was off the rails stupid, sounded like Bernie. But the Democrats are now expected to keep on being radical leftists, they can't even pretend to support the middle class anymore or they will anger their voters.

I'm not sure how you stay in that party but I admire your conviction, and respect your drive to change it from within. I've got to be honest with you...you won't change it. The old Dem party is gone and the new one is purely motivated by intolerance, hate, racism, and building/maintaining a poor dependent class of voters to keep them in power. The new Democrat party is angry that Americans are doing great again, and will fight to keep Americans poor and dependent. There is no turning back.
