I am contemplating my first build versus buying a complete rifle. So, should I go with a 14.5" bbl and permanently attach the flash hider or buy a 16" bbl? If I go with the 14.5" bbl, how hard is it to pin the flash hider? Do you have to drill most bbls to do this and does it have to be welded too? Thanks for the help!

Re: Permanent Flash hider attachment

You can always buy a 14.5 bbl from bravo company and they will permanently attach the flash hider for you

Re: Permanent Flash hider attachment

ATF only recognizes thre different methods of "permanently" attaching devices to barrels
1) blind pin
2) silver solder
3) welding.

the blind pin is the least obvious of all three for cosmetic reasons alone.
cheers, hope this helps.
