Apparently you missed or ignored the point. They may have intentionally drank but not with the intent of killing anyone. Theres a big difference in that and shooting up a wal mart out of some sort of rage.

I have made the alcohol argument before but society does not care. Alcohol is an acceptable social tool for reducing stress and having sex with someone that is well above or well below your grade whereas guns are evil.
