Yes I use one of the same design that I fabricated myself when I was young and dumb or was it when I had more time than sense. It has served me well and I am pleased with the performance. It is worth mentioning that it is imperative that the wrench is fully inserted into the front ring or the action can be tweaked pretty easily

I use something similar to remove and install custom barrels. I never use it to take off factory barrels.

Randy I've been using a Holland wrench for intalls, it's pretty close to the one you have pictured. Works great

Myself and many others have learned this lesson the hard way. I was fortunate that my experience only cost an action wrench, others learn this at the cost of an action...
