I mounted Badger low (1.0) 34mm rings with my PH 5-25 and there's a shit ton of room between the objective and my barrel. Anybody make a lower 34mm ring? USO maybe?

Other than Seekins? Sorry, Glen makes awesome stuff but I don't care for how his rings mount.

    Thanks, 41

    Seekins has a .92

-sorry just saw how you don't like Seekins...don't understand why because they are the lowest 34mm's and they are awesome. How often do you remove the scope that the double screw thing messes with you?

    Re: PH mounting issue

How does the scope sit as far as your cheek weld and being behind the rifle? That is what you should be worrying more about than the space between the objective and barrel.

You're really not going to get lower than Seekins for a 34mm scope tube in your price range but even then the Seekins are only .08" lower than what you have which isn't much.

    Re: PH mounting issue

As long as you are comfortable behind the rifle then I would rather have some room between the barrel and objective than use Warnes. Replacing Badgers with Warnes is a step down in my opinion.

Keith, I'm pretty sure there is a little voice in your head saying, "Send the PH to Dave and he will work with whatever rings he can find. Hell, he'll probably duck tape packing foam to his comb to make it all make sense."

Go with that voice. It's the right thing to do.

Because NEAR Rings and bases are the finest examples of those particular components manufactured, period.

Richard Near will also tailor them to the client's specifications.
