Who wants to train with an awesome tool? This allows the shooter to look through their scope while still recording!

I mostly use mine mounted on a rifle scope that is mounted on a weighted stand on the table next to me so I can record shots down range. I usually look at them afterwards and then trash them to save space on my phone. Next outing, I'll keep one or two (if I shoot well enough....) and share. Very, very cool device.

Found a couple of cheezy pix I shot while setting it up over the Winter....Not great pix and not representative of the quality this rig is capable of.

I'll try and get some decent action movies and share those. Great training tool!

Where can I find the price without going through the steps of ordering one?

Price depends on which version you get and if you include any adapters. If I remember right, just the SkopedVision runs $150-180 before phone case.

I got one a couple weeks ago thanks to Cole and the crew at Skoped Industries, and so far I am pretty impressed with it. It's going to be a great training and educational tool, both for recording and showing the video later, but also for live viewing of the student's POV while working with them on the firing line.

I got one not long ago and the last few through the scope videos I posted on Instagram are using that. It is easy to set up and convenient to use, although the colors look very washed out (for understandable reasons).

I have not tried recording anything while shooting, but will do so in a bit. It seems to work well on scopes with quite a lot of eye relief. There is some adjsutment, but on a Tangent Theta with 3.54" of eye relief, it is adjusted in the closest position. For a scope with less eyerelief than that, it probably won't work well.

Mine is the Gen 2 version with the attachement method that clamps around the eyepiece. I will probably end up getting a pic rail version as well for non-magnifying sights.

My original interest was in taking still pictures of the reticles and for that, there is a little bit too much image fidelity lost. It is not a good representation of how well the reticle stands out. However, for through the scope video, it seems to work quite well. There are some better solutions out there from an imaging standpoint, but they are exponentially more expensive. For the money, this is very good.

Awesome!! whats your insta? we will check out some of your videos

If it all lines up with the occular and mount, and you are able to run the bolt, access turrets?
I have the Scoped Vision Gen 2 (not the pro). I do not feel like it obstructs my elevation or parallax turrets, but it’ll double check how it affects my windage (I try to either dial before the stage or hold for wind, so I don’t normally dial during a stage). I’m just using a Burris XTR II so cant verify how it’ll work on a ZCO. One reason I chose the Gen 2 over the Pro was I felt the Pro version would obstruct my turrets and that I might not have enough room on my scope tube to mount it.

Pros: It’s a great learning tool for me. I like being able to review how I performed, how much wobble I had on barricades (a lot...), timing how long it took me to get on target, etc.

Cons: The app has issues if you take longer videos. I believe I took a 7min video, 15min video, and 17min video and these were unable to save so I lost those videos. I talked to Customer Service (Jason has been very responsive - normally next day) and they are trying to get it fixed but don’t have a timetable. This isn’t a dealbreaker, but sometimes it’s frustrating if I forget to stop recording and lose the video.

“We are in the process of getting an update out that will fix that issue. For now, we still do not recommend taking that long of videos. My app team does not have a time frame on when that will be released. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Thank you,
Jason”

App... you dont just use your phones built in camera?

The app helps you rotate the video (if you use the phone camera it’s at an angle and hard to see, fine-tune the focus (auto-focus doesn’t work well), adjust how dark/light it is (sometimes targets are too bright and need to darken and vice versa).
So you’re still using your phones camera but the app adjusts after? Or you take the video through your phones camera but it’s through the app and not built in camera mode? Sorry, just trying to understand this one. I had not thought before about using video to play back how you shot afterwards, that might prove to be invaluable. The skoped vision may be back on my radar even with their ludicrous pricing for their injection molded plastic phone case holders.

You are running your phones camera through the app. It allows you to rotate the reticle so that its straight. It also allows you to adjust light, and if you have a dual camera on your phone it allows you to choose witch camera you want.

Thank you for clarifying. That does sound intriguing. What is the current max video time?
