ahhh, you want to think about the camera on your phone the same as your eye. If the scope has an eye relief of say 3.5"-4" then you want your phone in that zone to minimize seeing the barrel of the scope. however phones typically have very wide lenses so you'll want to shoot at the highest resolution you can and crop in post.

scopes aren't ideal for this but you can make it work. I use my binos and put the phone on the one side and then I still have the other side for a monocular.
Or you can use a Skoped Vision and run your phone while you shoot through the prism and scope. It does cut light transmission and clarity a bit due to the prism, but it lets you film while shooting and not have to hold your phone in place.
