Picatinny one piece base

I'm new to the site and need some advice on equipment selection.

I've got a Remington 5r in 308 and I'm topping it w/a Nikon Monarch 5-20x44. The scope has the Nikoplex reticle and 1/8 minute adjustments and a total of 34 moas for elevation. I want to put a one piece picatinny rail under it.

The question: To get a 100yd zero and be able to get some distance out of the scope, should I get a base w/ a cant(10,15 or 20mao) to it?

Thanks for the advice.

20 MOA all the way, it's better to have and not need than need and not have, please consider a Badger Ordnance from Triad Tactical.

Re: Picatinny one piece base

Thanks guys. I've been looking at the 10 and 15 moas. I was afraid that the 20 moa would be too much to allow a 100 yard zero. Ignorance on my part. Thanks again.

20 MOA base ought to get you out to the practical limits of the .308
