Rifle Scopes Picatiny rail with 8-40 screws.

What options are available, very little info listed on the normal sites as far as screw size. I had my rifle done up in the LRI group buy, they did a great job but I sent them a 20 MOA base to machine to 8-40 to match the 8-40 screw holes on the action. After sighting in I realize I am at the extreme end of my adjustment on a SS scope, my vortex did not have enough range of adjustment to get on target so I need to go to a zero MOA or 10 MOA picatiny base, any recommendations and advice appreciated.

I'm big on purchasing tools when the need surfaces.

You can use it to convert any 6-48 rail to 8-40.

Leupold has their tactical rail that is 15 moa. It comes with both 8 and 6 type screws and is countersunk to accommodate either. I used these on my rifles until I switched to dual base systems (i just remember the kit coming with both screw sets.) They may have some zero moa options , but not sure.
