I got the scope on sale at optics planet. I know it isn't very high magnification, but I'll be able to get hits easily at my 200 yard range. I'm pretty excited. I can't wait to start slaying bodies, guddago.

    What?

I understand that the glass is a starter, but you are going to want more magnification for a 338 LM. 200 yards is almost a waste of a good 338 bullet. I'm sure that you are going to get some good practice at 200 but you are going to want to stretch the legs on that rifle eventually....

Sorry, I'm a smart ass by nature. It really has a NF 5.5-22x56 and I have a 600 yard high power range to shoot at every day and a 1k yard range in Tulsa. I swapped the glass from my encore 30-06 (hog slayer) for giggles. The line at the end that you quoted was from a you tube video that is funny.

I wasn't really looking for another rifle right now, but this deal came up and I couldn't pass it up. I'm torn. My AAC TITAN is threaded 5/8-24. I want to use it on the TRG, but that means having the muzzle rethreaded which I hate to do.

Sweet rifle. Damn, that's a high rail though! Better get yourself a spacer for the cheekpiece. Near Mfg makes a nice low profile picatinny rail if you decide to lower that. I have 20+ firearms, 3 Sakos. My three most accurate firearms are all Sakos. You won't be disappointed.

I've been picking up 338 components and what nots for about a year now. I got 200 pieces of Lapua brass, 1000 Hornady 250gr HPBT match and the rifle just came with 240 rounds of factory ammo. I'll just say that my first 1240 rounds will cost about $1 per pull. I've been very lucky in my dealings for this stuff.

Nice rifle, thought you were serious for a second. Anyway stretch that thing out. I just picked up 150 300 grain bergers and can't wait to try them out.
