What the hell do these mean/what are the differences in these tubes if it's spec'd as being a Pinnacle Milspec with a
Ultra, VG, YG, High Performance, P+ or P grade tube?
(seen on Knight Vision listing)

That’s ITT’s grading system for their tubes. Ultra being the best spec’d tube they offer and P being the lowest grade “pinnacle” they offer. Keep in mind they pinnacle simply means thin filmed/autogated.

So whether you pick a P or an ultra, your getting the same tube. One will just look a bit better than the other. The in between grades are all pretty much the same tubes to me honestly. There’s not a huge difference in the ultra and P to begin with so when you have several grades between those two it will be hard to even tell the difference between each grade.

That’s good to hear from someone else. I’ve asked before how my HP+’s compare to Ultra’s and was told the same thing. Always wanted to see an ultra to gauge for myself
