Rifle Scopes Pistol scopes?

Any good recommendations? I have a ported 8" .357 and think it would be a hoot to dope a 125g slug onto a prarie dog at 150+ yards! i can mount a rail on my gun as it is drilled and tapped to do so. would a long eye relief scout type scope work? I would rest the barrel on whatever I could find to make the shot. Any ideas? Something just for fun......

stick with leupold , bushnell elite or burris in no particular order. I have had and used evry model over the years. For small targets at distance you may want to look at the burris 3x9 0r 3x12 with the ballistic plex. I had one on a 460 smith and it worked well.

Do they make a Mil/Mil pistol scope? stupid I know.....but if they made a long eye relief 1x4 it would kinda fun.
