Looking to get a suppressor. BAsically, I live out of town, but my neighbor trains kids to ride horses, and out of respect for them and the kids, I don't shoot much.

I'm looking at the Osprey, does it really interfere less with sights than the competition?
I know a 45 silencer can be used on a 9mm, does it work as well?
I appreciate any tips.
Thanks.

Re: pistol suppressor, newbie question

The Osprey really does interfere with your sights less. The first picture is of an Osprey .45. The second is of a Ti-Rant .45. The sights clear both (Advantage Tactical)cans, but they clear the Osprey a lot better. You can use the tip of the sights with the Ti-Rant.
