I believe in platform shooting. Having one system be it AI, McMillan, B&C.... etc. This, in my opinion, gives you the greatest amount of repeatabilty everytime you shoulder your rifle regaurdless of the caliber chambered in.

With that said, I am finding a need for at least 1 rifle in a "traditional" configuration just in case the day ever comes when I might be no where near MY rifles and have to use another.

Anyone else have opinion on this topic?

Just trying to generate some good conversation.

I agree, having commonality among your rifles can definitely aid in consistency and should improve performance down the line. Then again, if the monkey behind the trigger can do his job, it should translate across the board.
