i bought this from a friend who unfortunately is overseas and hard to get a hold of now....

can you guys check out these photos and help me figure out more things about this rifle?
As far as I know, it's a 308 mauser ...

Looks like some kind of old Mauser that someone converted into a Scout style rifle. Possibly Turkish. Definitely not it's original configuration. Be sure about the caliber before you try to shoot it. FWIW...

It's a sporterized Turkish Mauser.

Yup, its a mauser. There is one at my gun shop chambered in 308. Im probably going to pick it up. its only 300$, so i figure its worth a shot. Its got a heavy barrel and integrated muzzle break, as well as a custom thumb through. Ill see what i can do with it!

Turkish Mauser in an ATI plastic stock. With a non original barrel.
