Hi everybody. Keith Johns with Phoenix Custom Rifles.
It has come to my attention on several occasions that there is a company in Puerto Rico named "Phoenix Custom Arms" doing gun work.

I have twice had people almost confuse them with us, and I want to clearify we have nothing to do with them, or any other Phoenix Custom xyz.
Anything other than "Phoenix Custom Rifles" is not us. Myself and my father are the only employees, so it's very easy to be sure you're dealing with us.

We've never had a problem with fraud or scamming, but people could get confused about business names... especially when companies have extremely similar names.

Obviously no one would send their rifle, or money, to Puerto Rico, but I just wanted to make this post to remind people to be careful out there on the web.

If anyone knows anything about "Phoenix Custom Arms" feel free to share with me what you know. I'd like to know they're legit, and not scamming people or tarnishing our name.
I can only find a Facebook page for them. I didn't find a website.

Thanks for reading!

Hi, allow me to chime in as i live in San Juan and have seen their outfit first hand... (Takes big gulp of black coffee... enlists his brain to think is macallan 12...)

I will first say THEY DO NOT QUALIFY to be described as a gunsmithing outfit. Their Facebook posts allude to the contrary but a quick review of their work will leave absolutely no question that a brain damaged monkey could piece together a more decent rifle than they can.

They run around the state doing "PMC/PSD/High Risk Escort/VIP Extraction...(you start to see the pattern) demos in malls and in high schools and anywhere they allow a Airsoft gun. They prey on schools and COD type kids (and their moms) to boost their enrollment and have the phrase: "spec ops" plastered all over their social media pages.

They also do: "Live gun training" on a range about 30 mins west of San Juan. They are clear to operate on the state but by no means there are a "legit" GS or training group. They will take your money tho if you mistake em for PCR or any other shop that resembles their name as the have some sort of shop where they do glock slide cuts and 1/2-28 cut and thread jobs and that sort of thing.

Their leader or owner (not sure) is called Jose Kerkado and i believe he is former Army. He goes by the name of Captain Kerkado down here. I'll post a few of the "custom rigs" they churn later so you can add a bit of comic relief to your marvelous day.

Regards.

Disclaimer: I do not own a competing shop nor work for anything related to the guns industry nor i have ties to any of their competitors (not even sure if there is a second Traumatic brain injury monkey outfit around here anyway). Just shedding some light on a outfit that has given more than one a headache.
