PMC X-TAC Questions

So I went to the store the other night to get a few boxes of ammo and walked out with a few boxes of 62 gr green tip. I've never shot it out of my rifle but the guy warned me that i was buying AP ammo, is this true? And what sort of accracy/reliability can I expect? Please and thank you

its not true AP that would be m995 black tip. But I do believe it performs well for intermediate barriers more so than than xm193 55gr FMJ.

I think it's just FMJ 62 grain.

Ah ok, I wasn't to sure we all know how guys at the gun shop can be sometimes, so just thought I'd check. It's only going to be used to punch paper so should be fine either way.

Any ideas how 62gr in a 1x9 11.5 inch barrel will work out for me?
