Just traded my LMT Defender2000 DI gun for a POF 415. I've been looking at piston guns for a while and finally had to,do it. They had a lwrc also but was to much cash. I have read good and bad about pof rifles. Tell me about your experiences with these rifles. Mainly use it for target shooting and won't run it to hard.
Pics of groups shot with a 415 would be great and what ammo they like.

POF is awesome

Ive have the p415 14.5 and had the 16in p308 in np3 but the right deal came along but I kick myself daily for it. I have never had a single issue in 2K through the p415 and it is the most accurate out of the box AR-15 I have ever owned. Blows LWRC away across the board IMHO although that may start a way. I have never had a SPR, but the m6a2 i had was no comparasion whatsoever to feel, controls, features, gas system, and accuracy.

That's what I wanna hear, was hard to trade the lmt but didn't have the cash. On a side note earlier that day I got a Bulgarian ak sam7 on GB for $1000, so that was part of the reason I didn't have the cash. Can't wait to get that too. Gonna be an awesome range day.

SKS Guy I'm sure you will love your POF. I would really like to pick one up but I am allocating my funds else ware which precludes a new 415, for now.
On a side note. KillShot did you sell the rifle in your sig? I thought I had seen that in a thread somewhere. I always enjoy your posts.

No sir, I still have the rifle. I put it on Gunbroker back in January because I'm really wanting DTA SRS but I removed the listing within a few short hours because I just can't bring myself to sell. It's as much fun to shoot as it is to look at and believe it or not, it has been the inspiration for about a dozen other guys buying a POF. I have a TBAC 30BA at the dealer while I wait for the paperwork to come through so needless to say, I can hardly wait!

Here's mine in an actual hide site. Everyone posts pictures of their rifles on a range or on a table in their living room. I figured I would post one actually doing work. I love mine, I have ran a few thousand rounds out of it with no failures, NONE! Haven't shot it for group size, but on steel at 100 yds you can tell the bullet strikes apart.
