POF surplus ball linked - OK for plinking?

Found some Pakistani surplus 7.62 linked ammo. Headstamp is POF 90. Is this safe for plinking in my M1? I can get it for 37 cents a round. Don't expect it to be real accurate just want to make sure it's safe to shoot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It should be just fine for plinking if you're not bothered by accuracy or the lack thereof. It certainly can't be any worse than feeding your rifle shitty ammo like Tula, Bear, or Wolf.
