After I shot some groups of an OCW workup, I finished off a box of basic factory ammo I used to get the sscope dialed in. During the OCW shots, I left around 2 minutes between shots to avoid heating.
But at the end, I shot a bit faster and warmed up the barrel. The POI changed up and to the right as the barrel got hotter. And by a good bit, IIRC about .5 mil high and right after about 14 rounds.
I know that a POI shift is normal, but is there some ryhme or reason to the direction? Or it is random to a given rifle?
