Police Appreciation Thread

Some spend months working under cover, or flying around the country while on a task force. It all adds up.
No one on that list made that money from long term UC. Every single one of those people is in some sort of union leadership or “training” or public information type position and makes that money charging the department for every call and text they answer after 5, 7 days a week.

Also they’re definitely porking on OT.

“Hey HS, I know you were home last night but if my wife asks you we were out trying to find the gun that Desquarious Jerkinson dropped during that chase ok? Till 2 ok??”

Had a flat a couple of days ago. While waiting for the tow truck to change my tire (I don’t change my a tires, FO), two different police stopped to check on us. Both offered to change it for us, but we declined since the guys who do it for a living were on their way. We were fine, had water, and AC. That was nice of them, no fishing expedition, just an offer of help.

Supposedly studies claim less than 5% of police calls escalate to violence and that includes threats of violence
And 95% of those cases were probably escalated by the police.

How many Jews do you think tried to poke an SS in the eye with a stick?
No shit, people try to stay quiet around cops.
They'll ruin you if they feel slighted, and ain't jack shit you can do about it.

The only good thing is courts are finally starting to strip qualified immunity when there is video.

Fun fact. Do you know the real reason why the 18th Amendment was created in 1920? The lie the government told everyone was that alcohol consumption was causing a huge spike in domestic violence. Wanna know the real reason why prohibition was enacted? Anyone who's drank alcohol enough knows that it suppresses the part of your brain that controls fear. Essentially making you fearless of anything including authorities. Cops back then didn't like the idea of people not being afraid of them anymore and actually fighting them to the death.
