Political Character Assassination Set-up in Chicago CVS?

Counterfeit coupons are a huge business and an immense problem for retailers. I am not saying this lady was using a bogus coupon or not. This is only news because this lady was black, African-American or whatever she prefers to be called. This racial/sexual political correctness has me stymied. Don't know whether to call a young lady, "Miss" anymore because of possible backlash as being some sort of dirty old man or something even worse. So anyone I talk to you just gets a generic "you" because it denotes a single person not me, us, them or they. I feel that is about as safe as I can get it without crushing someone's fragile ego or personal space. Personally, I get offended when the local retailers in my area who know me, check the $20 bills I use to purchase an item. As far as the OP, the only thing that made this newspaper article newsworthy is because of the lady's skin color. This article would not have made press if the woman had been of a different color.

This tactic while not new is getting alot of use as of late . Don't address the issue or crime instead out the pers9n who called the Po Po . Oh yeah if you call the police you're obviously racist . I'll bet she flipped shit when he wouldn't take the coupon ablnd he called the police saying we have a feral in the store . Please send animal control .

Sounds like he hit the panic button for the store alarm . Once he called she decided to be miss reasonable and proper . The guys hand is shaking possibly out of fear . Yeah she's definitely a victim .

CVS spokesperson Mike DeAngelis said in a statement. “CVS Pharmacy does not tolerate any practices that discriminate against any customer and we are committed to maintaining a welcoming and diverse environment in our stores. We have firm non-discrimination policies in place to help ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity. Profiling or any other type of discriminatory behavior is strictly prohibited.”
Hudson said in a Facebook message that CVS regional director Joe Haas ‘‘apologized profusely’’ after the incident. She later wrote that Facebook had taken down the original viral post because it violated a policy, but she-reposted the video.
