Portable Reloading Set-up?Pics?

Anybody got a reloading set up that they use and then store in a closet or under a bed etc. I don't have a climate controlled area right now to keep my stuff in and think that for now a portable set up would be great. I already have a RCBS press, dies, etc. Just need a "portable" way to set it up///

Any ideas, or pictures would be appreciated.


I looked at the Sinclair wooden press stand and was wondering if anyone used it. It looks like you could put it in the floor and use it/

If you have a garage or a truck with a trailer hitch. Head down to the iron yard and pick up some hitch material and weld up a bench that will fit in the hitch. Easy to remove. RCBS also has a quick change unit for press, charging station, trimmer etc.

I just have my press bolted to a piece of 2x8 that I clamp down with some 5" deep 'C' clamps I got at Home Depot. I keep all my dies and small tools in Plano StowAway boxes (sold in the fishing section). And then load those and all my powder, trays, etc... into a Stanley mobile tool chest.

Keeps my reloading gear completely mobiles so that I can load at home, at the range, in a hotel room, whatever...

Bolt a top to a Black&Decker WorkMate frame. Portable and stowable.

I did that. I think ChadTRG42 uses it more than I do though, lol

No tip over problems with that set up,or should I say is it sturdy enough for full length sizing on a larger magnum cartridge?

Other problem I see is where to put a powder scale out of the wind that is sturdy yet portable.

I loaded 7mmRM with this .
Not very solid, especially when using neck-sizing dies, but worked.

Building one in the receiver hitch would be great for those who have to drive some distance to a range for load development!
