Possible Crazy 338 Lapua Question

Hey everybody,

I am hoping you can all help with a little build question. I am building a 338 Lapua hunter from a Savage BA Stealth. I want to more than likely go to a Manners EH series stock. I kind of want to go to a hinged floor plate or hidden box magazine instead of a DBM (to save weight). I am wondering is this even possible? If it is do you know of where to find the parts to make it work? I am coming up short on the google front.

Manners website says savage short action with dbm mini chassis

But. Assuming the EH can fit it physically I wouldnt be surprised if they would do it for you

But...at the same time the money spent to do this may be better put into a better action to use a normal manners stock configuration

I appreciate the quick reply. I have 2 custom savages already and both are shooters. I don't mind savage actions especially for hunting rifles. I have one in a EH-4 with the mini chassis but its running the PTG bottom metal. It added quite a bit of weight to the build. I am sure there is a stock that Manners will inlet for this project the issue is finding the bottom metal to set up a 338 lapua to a savage with a hinged floor plate or hidden box.

Yeah I dont know if a 4" wyatt's will work or not. Beyond my knowledge
