Someone behind an account (jessiehatfield) created 35 minutes ago sent me a PM suggesting I contact an individual outside of the hide via email in regards to some parts I’m looking for.. I’ve reported this to the moderators.

Make sure the person you're messaging is trusted and do not use PayPal Friends & Family for your purchase, this is a common tactic for scammers. Keep safe!

I don't think that is necessarily a scammer. I've sent people to other places if I've seen something they are looking for. Now if they won't take some form of insured payment then i wouldn't mess with it
The fact that he was just copy/pasting the name of the parts I’m looking for from my original post and not even caring for singular/plural is strange… again, this is very odd.. I hope I’m mistaking, and I Apologize in advance if that’s the case… but this is typical MO of scammers… hopefully I’m mistaking, but wanted to let others know… if more people start seeing this, well I think my suspicions were right.

Same guy tried to get me to buy a barrel from his buddy outside the hide, his buddy emailed me back and it just seemed odd and would not take PayPal as payment. I went back to find the hide member that sent me the info and could not find it.
Highly probable that's it's the same person that ripped me off. Same MO. Luckily, it wasn't for much. Something about the communication felt fishy but since it wasn't for much I proceeded to send the money without insurance via PP about a year ago.
I just chalked it up to lesson's learned from stupidity. But if this joker is still trolling here, lmk if I can help getting this person banned
