Possible stupid question regarding my TL3

A relative asked me to swap barrels on his savage rifle and he had no use for the varmint contour 270 barrel I removed so now I'm wondering if I can put it to use on my Bighorn TL3.

I have a short action TL3 but other than being only able to single feed rounds, would it work or am I missing something else?

If it's a small shank barrel it should work fine. Just need to pickup a barrel nut from someplace like Northland Shooter Supply.

If it’s a small shank it will work but you might want to see if it will eject a loaded round. I’m not sure if the ejection port is long enough. I’m sure it will eject an empty case but a loaded round might be a different story.
