I noticed that when I dry fire my rem700, then start to open the bolt I can hear gritty-ness inside of the bolt as the firing pin cocks back. I have taken apart the bolt before, so I know I can do that. But what would I replace the grease with? I have some Brian Enos slide glide, but thats about it grease wise.

I would disassemble the bolt clean it real well and just maintain good lube on the areas needed. If its gritty but not dry it prob just needs cleaned out a little better.

Pretty much any metal lubes or oil work (within reason) . Smith taught me his mixture he uses, one part synthetic engine oil, one part transmission oil and a slash of hoppes 9. Seems to work... better than clp anyway.

Don't forget to clean the bolt lug area near the barrel. Sinclair International sells a nice tool that holds "dental cotton rolls" and works great to clean an area that is tough to get to without the proper tools.

White lithium grease has worked really well for me on the threads and cocking cam surface. Borden uses this, when they ship you a new action. Hope this helps. Paul.

So did I, but that bolt tool is worth the money.
