Might not be what you want but they have factory seconds at midway. I was able to get a box of 500. Don’t seem to be anything wrong with the ones I got. Just an other option for you.
I thought the only 143gr were the eldx but I am not certain on that. Has anyone ever used the blems before. Just starting to reload and have no experience with them
I have shot some of the 6mm 108 eld blems, had 2 with snapped off tips, tips were gone (not in the box) the rest were Good to go, i did check dia only not weight though, shot with the non blems out to 300. bought 1000 more of them.
Here’s a few pictures of the factory seconds I got. Haven’t had a chance to load any yet. But my rifle loves the bullet doesn’t matter the powder or charge.
The Midway 143 blems are Hornady ELD-x projectiles. There are a few in the box missing the tips but for the most part they shoot like a laser in my 6.5x47. Good as first run.
I have used these in the past. The last batch that I got, the tips where very very hard and would brake off when loading the gun. I have had great success. Now I was having a lot of problem.
Just a thought, I was in my local gun shop last week and he had, if I remember correctly, about 6 boxes 140gr amax .264. Anyone be interested in trading eldx for those if he still had them?
