I am about to finish mine and would love to see others to get ideas for colors and add-ons. I got a B&C A2 stock, but need to see what looks the best for future mods.

Thanks guys!

Heres a cell pic of mine this morning.

Scott,
Beautiful rifle! My barrel looks just like yours. My scope is the same. My B&C A2 is just a little different

BTW, I need you backing me up overseas, man. If you can shoot that without a brake, you are a tough sob!

JR,
Nice! The color of your barrel is almost the exact color I am doing my Edge in. How are they shooting for you? How far have you taken them out to?

Scott's rifle was an inspiration to me for the matte stainless and barrel look. I don't care to shoot mine without a brake though

Scott - You sure you're at 19 lbs? I'm at 15.5 and that's with a 30" MTU + the fat bastard brake, and sniper fill on the A5. I know your NXS weighs a little more than my VX3, but 19 seems high...?

Mram - Not sure if you have bottom metal figured out yet, but I have a kind of love / hate relationship with my Seekins DBM so far. I love the ability to have 5 rounds down below, and a quick reload (just 'cause). But the mags are designed around the Lapua so you have to tweak the feed lips for the RUM cases. Thus far they seem somewhat... picky. It's not a knock on the Seekins system as it's really nice, but I think I might go with a Wyatt's and standard floor plate if I had it to do over.

EXTREMELY happy with the Edge performance so far. Really amazing the way it reaches out there. Almost feels like cheating comparing it to shooting my 308.

AJ,
Gorgeous gun. Did you buy that on the Hide? It looks just like one I almost bought here.
I am going the single shot route for now until I can decide what exactly I want. I am leaning toward the 4" extended mag, but not sure how much modding I would have to do.

Keep the pics coming guys along with range reports please.

Meridian.

I shoot at Parma a lot. We have a great long range shooting program out there. You should come and join us! The picture above was taken at one of our long range shoots. With our edge's (I think there's at least 6 of us that own one now) we shoot them out to 1 mile.

William Roscoe - Louisiana Precision Rifles (wnroscoe here on the 'Hide) built it for me:

I highly recommend him if you're still looking for a 'smith. The rifle just plain SHOOTS.

Count me in. I deploy next month, but want to shoot it at least once before hand. I have heard good things about that range.<p>
PD, sweet rifle. I am really curious about the Sightron SIII.
AJ, love the stock colors. That marble finish looks top notch.

I think the next long range shoot will be Jan. 8th. Hopefully you'll be able to make it out. </div></div>

I'll miss it. It is a short tour, so I will be back in late March. I can't complain since our Army and Marine brethren are doing year long ones. Thanks again to you guys on the ground.

I need to come out and learn from you guys. I have gotten to where my 300 rum is easy to shoot out to 700, but need to learn about the longer stuff.

Re: * Post Pics of Your 338 Edge *

Well, you'll be back in time for our yearly "off-site" shoot. Which is alway a lot of fun. Usually around the end of April we go up around Paddock Resevoir and shoot across canyons, uphill and downhill shots and really long range shots (up to 1 mile shots, for those who have the right gear).

We usually 4 wheel drive into each firing position and each firing position will require you to find your target and then range the targts using various methods (mil-dot, lrf, swag, GPS coordinate, etc.)

Let me know when you get back and I'll let you know what the date of the shoot is.

RWS just put mine together yesterday! Great job. I am bedding it now. I will mod the stock to fit me and duracoat it tomorrow and post pics this week.
