I've looked at various reloading manuals and other resources. I know there are a lot of powders that will work with 215's in 300 win mag, but I'd like to know what has worked best for others here as far as temp stability, velocity, accuracy, etc. I've been searching for many months for H1000 with no success, so it's time to start expanding my powder search to include the next best thing(s).

Any suggestions based on your experiences would be appreciated.

RL22, 25, Retumbo, h4831sc on the faster side, and a couple of others that I can't think of. They are all hard to find right now. We are probably gonna have to wait this out. H1000 is hard to find because too many people started hoarding it with a new demand from smaller calibers like 6.5 saum.

I've tried r22 dirty and temp unstable. H4831 accuracy
Wasn't there. Tied H1000 and found this load. This was my
Personal best group, but when conditions are right
And I do my part it's scary accurate..

With H1000 and 215 bergers, can you seat them to magazine length and still get decent accuracy? I know it depends on the chamber cut but 'in general' with a saami spec chamber.

Not to insinuate that it can't be done. But the 215 is LONG to be seating at 3.340". The case may swallow the bullet!!
