None that I have noticed have said what condition thier test brass was in.

For example they give the brand of brass but do not necessarily state virgin brass or fire formed.

I'm thinking there is enough case volume difference to skew my results?

    Was that your short answer?

    Lol

I was trying to clone fgmm with cfe223 and it dawned on me that I have out ran it and trying to get a grasp of if I will hit the next node before running out of volume while carefully watching preasure.

I will take a chill pill and dump more powder and if that don't work go way back down.

Case volume is a function of brass AND chamber. The two variables have to be considered together. It does not matter whether the case is new or fire formed. The case is malleable and conforms to the chamber’s dimensions under pressure.
