Powders for 300 PRC

Being that it's impossible to find Alliant 26, H100 or Retumbo for 300 PRC 250 gr. is it ok to use H4831 for Hornady 250 gr. even though it's only suggested for the Hornady 225 gr?

And can H4831 and H4831SC interchangeably?

You have to continually search for RL 26, but it is findable. A friend and I found 4 8lb jugs recently. He took 3 and I took 1. I feel better now that I'm back over 20 lbs of the stuff. Was getting nervous at being down to 15.

You can use the 4831, and it is interchangeable with SC.

IMR has a couple of powders that are suitable. 8133, 7977, and 7828 SSC. All three would be worth trying, and two of them are the temp stable Enduron powders(8133/7977). They aren’t the current darlings, and are typically available.
