Gents,
I'm travelling to New Orleans at the end of next week for a convention for work. I know that everywhere online is pretty much sold out of powder/primers, but I've read several people talking about their local gun shop having some items in stock. Since I have a 5-6 hour drive ahead of me, I'd love to be be able to pick up some reloading consumables if there is some place on the way that has stuff available (at non-stupid prices).
Does anyone located in the western Panhandle of Florida, southern Mississippi or even eastern Louisiana know of a gun shop near I-10 I could stop in and maybe pick up some powders/primers on may way to or from New Orleans? I come from a town that has no place to buy reloading stuff beyond shotgun powders....and you know the current online situation. I'm looking for 308 reloading consumables (Varget or the like, Fed 210 primers or the like).
I'm not looking to "wipe out" your LGS if that's a concern.
In fact, I'm only looking for 4 pounds (8 pound jug would be great, but isn't necessary) of powder and a thousand primers to hold me over until the freaks online chill out.
Any help would be appreciated.
