power pro 2000 in 6.5x47 lapua

I am wanting to do some load work with power pro 2000mr in a 6.5x47 lapua. I am planning on doing a ladder test, but dont know what charge weight to start with since alliant dosent have data on the 6.5 lapua. Should I use the 260 data and just start a little lower than that? Suggestions?

Did you try the power pro 2000 in the 6.5x47 lapua? I contacted Alliant and although they had no load data for the 6.5x47 they said the powder should work and is slightly slower burning than RE15. Let me know if you try it out? I'm waiting for a GAP custom rifle in 6.5x47 and I plan on trying power pro 2000 to see how well it works. Will use JLK 130s in a 8.5 Bartlein 24" barrel.
