Prayers for family

I got the call today that it was time to come home. My brother is going down hill fast and I need to come see him while we can still have some quality time. This will probably be our last visit before the brain cancer takes my precious brother away from me. I know he will be in a better place and no longer suffering, but it doesn't make this walk any easier. Please keep my family in your prayers. I will be leaving first thing in the morning for Oregon.

Re: Prayers for family

May God Bless you and your family during this tough time. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. I know from past posts that you are an incredibly strong person and I pray that this allows you to be the rock for the rest of your family.

Re: Prayers for family

Took a glance at your web site. My wife is deep into quilts and has almost as much fabric as Walmart. She is also a colon cancer survivor. We believe in miracles because she could have lost her life 3/4 times due to dif situations during this time. FAITH is where its all at but sometimes what we want is not GOD's plan for us. One of HIS promises is that HE will never leave us and HE canot break a promise or tell a lie. We also believe the prayers of friends are heard and we know she had probaly 1000's sent up. Prayers sent for You and your family-GOD BLESS

Re: Prayers for family

Mike was baptized today. He's resting quietly tonight. Everyday we wonder is this going to be the day we loose him. The headaches and constant confusion are very difficult and I noticed that he has lost a lot of muscle since I was last here. When he is lucid, he wants to make sure everyone in is being taken care of and that he has left nothing undone. I am told this may last only a few days or a few months. I pray it is not for long.

Re: Prayers for family

Thanks guys and gals. I talked to Susan yesterday and she sounds really drained emotionally. She is coming home Sunday one way or the other. She said the hospice people were coming out today and might can offer some insight.

Re: Prayers for family

I said goodbye to my brother Sunday. He drifts in and out of sleep and in and out of reality. I was able to get a very nice visit with him the first night I was there. Hospice said it could take two days to several weeks for him to pass. I hope it is not long, he is ready to go and is suffering. Thank you so much for all of your thoughts and prayers,

Susan

Re: Prayers for family

Susan, was out of town last week, so sorry to hear of your loss. Not much anyone can say that helps during a time like this, but will certainly keep you and your family in our prayers!
