Pre 2014 AX338 barrel change

Just curious if anyone has Changed their barrel on there Pre 2014 AX338 at home and what tools/methods it takes to do it.

I don't want to have to ship my baby away so any input would be appreciated.

Barrel vice, action wrench, and a torque wrench. Really nothing to it. Id buy an aftermarked action wrench, as the ai wrench is ridiculously priced.

Here is what can be used to change the barrel:

Shims - http://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-t...aws/pure-lead-barrel-vise-shims-prod1183.aspx

I am not sure what bushing you'd need for the vise but you can figure it out pretty easily. Also get some lead shims and a bit of rosin just to be safe.
