Gunsmithing Pre- 64' Winchester Barreled Action

I have an opportunity to pick up an immaculate Pre-1964 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight complete barreled action in .243 for around $625; is that a good deal?

I would think so. Guess the bigger question is, do you think it is worth it. I usually look on Gunbroker or Guns America for something similar to see the market value then decide if it's worth it. But if it's something you just can't live without value means little.
