Any good sources to get pre contoured blanks to make ar builds a little less labor intensive? Wanting to reduce the amount of machine time i spend when im burning barrels out every 3 to 4 months.

As cheap as AR parts are today if I were going through barrels that fast I would just buy finished barrels.

Call J at Shilen and ask for a 26 inch blank, the breech end cut to 1.000, minus "0", plus 0.003 for 14 inches, and the balance at .750, minus "0", plus 0.003. Or to whatever length you prefer the two diameters should be, and what diameter you use for gas block. I just used .750 for example
