Pre fit barrel with straight flutes

I have a pre fit x caliber on an origin action. I had it straight fluted with 5 flutes, but didn’t consider indexing when I ordered it. The rifle is all set up and shooting consistently under .5 moa but the indexing is just slightly off center and I was wondering if I had the guy who put the barrel on take it apart and try to index it better if it would still be possible to have proper headspace, or if I should just leave it be. What’s everyone think

to do this he would have to cut the shoulder and lengthen the current chamber and then reset the headspace. Even then I am not sure he could promise it would meet your expectations.
