Precision 50 Beowulf (12.7x42)?

Has anyone made a 50 Beowulf precision rifle? I'm curious. I'm building a short action rifle and want to have spare barrels on hand, and having a 50 Beowulf barrel was one of my insane ideas I had. Could I get away with using 50 bmg projectiles?

Mostly plinking. 50 BMG is just far too expensive but a mini 50 would be pretty cool.

You can't use bmg projectiles unless you size them down .010, quite an operation. Beowulf uses .500 bullets like a 500 smith and wesson. 50 bmg uses .510 diameter bullets.

Take a look at 510 wsm or 500 whisper those have been done on precision rifles. I have a 510wsm still working on accuracy for subsonic loads
