Whats everybody think for a precision 18-20” 6.5cm build! Who makes the ideal setups? I’m not interested in piecing one together and don’t wanna spend 5k on rifle alone. What brands have y’all had good luck out of? Thanks

What is the purpose for the rifle? Usually when I see people wanting 18-20" that's more geared towards a lighter weight hunting rifle but everyone's purposes are different.

I have a Wilson Combat Super Sniper with a 24in barrel my choice) but you can order with a 20 or 22. It is super accurate less than 1/2 moa. I am loading 130gr BERGER OTM with 42.0 H4350. I used my militar/ first responder 20% discount so it was $2900. Onl thing I added was a JP captured spring ($200)

My 6.5CM is a 20” CA Ridgeline. I don’t feel like I’m losing much of anything out to 550 yards. Some will argue that 18” is too short for the 6.5CM, but if you figure 20-25fps per inch of barrel reduction, you can do the math there. I think you’ll be fine. Suppressed will be even better. I was looking for the same thing a few months ago,I narrowed it down to daniels defense and seekins. Both are great rifles I chose the dd for a few reasons, I wanted an adjustable stock, it is slightly lighter, and I like the dd adjustable gas block better. I attached a pic of the first two three shot groups out of the rifle at 100 yards.

Another vote for Wilson Combat. Mine is an 18" Recon Tactical that will shoot sub 1/2 MOA if I do my part.
