Precision Rifles.....show em!!

Long time lurker.
Howa 1500 - stock trigger
24" heavy barrel, threaded, Kahn Control Hex Mod brake
.300 Win Mag
Nikon FX1000 MOA 4x16
Brownells/MDT chassis, Ergo grip, Luth AR buttstock
Harris bipod
Have some tweeking to do.

Absolute newbie to the long range game. I've been putting this together for the last six months. Only sixteen rounds thru it so far. Getting a little too old to brave the AZ heat to shoot right now. Going to wait a few more weeks and start shooting again.

Any issues with the CRF?
Did the Nucleus fit the lug lock?
Still waiting on the barrel nut... So haven't ran it full speed any. Can't get the crf to work with magpul. Even with shortened feed lips. I read some guys got it when they ran the action fast. We'll see hopefully Monday. Will also be trying an AI mag.

Oddly enough my chassis didn't come with a lug lock???

Hmm... I wonder if it was old stock? Did you order from MPA?

Ordered from OTM. They told me it was the newest generation. So it should of had it. I seen pictures of someone else's and was like WTF is that?! Where do I get one?
Just unlucky I guess. Might give mpa a call tomorrow

Just got my new all black Desert Tech SRS-A1 back from being cerakoted OD Green and Forest Green! Haven’t shot it yet, but super excited, always wanted a Desert Tech.

Right now I have 6.5 Creedmoor barrel with Nightforce 7-35 ATACR scope. I’m planning to get 22” 308 Win and 26” 338 Lapua barrels later this year.

Picked up a Case Club precut case from Amazon for it was well, so far so go, impressed with the value.

I’m also thinking about getting the Atlas cerakoted OD Green now!?! I really liking the shades of green!

Recently got a 3-27PMII to try on my 300wm and for a display at a veterans "meet" in Ireland. Of course I have to test the thing first. Three shots in the garden to zero and get the speed . Forth shot was a sika spike as our season just opened. Nice scope but will have a tough time to compete as my favourite against my 3-20 Ultra Short. Rifle was on here before, DCR action (UK) 24" Lothar Walther barrel, PSE E-Tac4 Rem LA stock, Hausken Suppressor.

All very nice!!!

I found this thread after I posted my Ruger Precision pics under the Ruger Precision Rifle Thread. So, in the interest of not drawing admonishment from moderators I'll just suggest you peek over there.

These landscapes are wonderful. Some good photography!

Beanland Custom Rifles
Shilen DGR action
McMillan A6 Adjustable in Urban Carbon Ambush
24” Bartlein 5R M24 contour chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor
Mesa Precision Arms bottom metal
Nightforce SHV F1
Seekins Rings

The group is shots 2 - 6 from the rifle. .392” with Hornady American Gunner Ammo. Four 5-shot groups with the American gunner have averaged .478”. I’ve had several custom rifles by some of the best names in the business and have NEVER had a rifle do that with the first rounds ever put through it. I’m pretty stoked about the rifle doing this with factory ammo and can’t wait to see what it will do with a loud tuned for it.

Jon’s work and attention to detail is absolutely amazing and it shows on the target.

Thanks. I love it. I have not bedded it since it shoots great out of the box. I do like the adjustability to it since I don't fit most stocks.

Came across this picture of a 6.5x47 Robert built me. It is a shooter. One target is a 100 yard 3 shot group while the other is a 4 shot group at that little white spec across the field. 600 yards? The only change I have made since the picture was that I swapped the 12x60 March scope out for a 8x80 illuminated.

The twin he built is identical with the only change being it is in a 260 and has a Schmidt/ Bender 10x50 with Sphur mounts. Just as accurate

Robert and I have shot both rifles probably 30 times for each and since then they have sat in my safe. Probably time to start thinking of selling them as I just don't have the time to shoot them.

Of all the customs I have had built none are more accurate than the ones he has built for me. If you want "one of the finest rifles" money can buy see Robert. You will not be disappointed ,

Does the back of that Ergo grip keep the Luth AR from rotating?
