Out at the range the other day... I really like shooting 6.5PRC. And I ended up picking a buddies 6mm the other day, I love this rifle, it is what my 300 Norma is being cosmeticly modeled after, when he talked about selling it I jumped on it.... I think I am done buying rifles for the year.

Help a new guy out. I see all these bad ass chassis systems. Can you really just bolt them up, torque them down and go shoot? No tinkering, bedding or any thing?

19 boxes of 338 lapua magnum cases behind something that isn't a 338 lapua. Where is the rest of it?
Boxes are for the theme :).
Got the boxes from a friend, i do have few full 260rem and 6.5creedmoor Lapua case box though, but did not put them
in to the picture, because the box size is smalle.
I hope this is good for the answer to you?

Figured something like that. Shoulda put a winky smiley in previous message. Was messing with you.

Btw your rifles look great! Especially the Whiskey 3's. The only way to make them better is if they were left handed and stainless. ;)

First PR here and new to the practice. I've shot 3-gun for 10 years but have always had an interest in shooting 1000-1200 yds.

I finally sent first rounds down range last Sunday. First 5 shots got her dialed in at 100 and the next 5 yielded a decent. 435" group.

I took my new 6 BRA out to the eastern slopes of the Sierras last weekend. I found my new favorite shooting spot...

Where I went shooting - only fired the 6mm at 700 yards, as I'm not through load dev yet, but had my 300 out to 1430:

Great rifle. I had almost the exact same setup - only it was 6CM. I sold it when I got my 6BRA because it was too similar, but I recommend it to anyone who is looking for something in that price range.

I haven't shot there but by the looks that would be my favorite shooting place too, far drive for me though. Worth it.

It's a far drive for me too - about 4 hours. But I've got a couple friends who are crazy enough to head out at 6:00 am, spend a full day, and get back home after midnight. And yes, it's worth it.

I also have a bunch of friends who don't think it's worth it. They simply don't get it :)

Ok, now my first real custom work has begin, or it has got the custom barrel from USA :)
Krieger barrel stainless steelm 4 groove 1/8" and 6.5mm.
Remington varmint progfile.
It will be 6.5creedmoor, i know it is a puff caliber:LOL:, i have all ready 260rem, but i like that accuracy on the 6.5 creedmoor, not that
my 260rem would not be accurate.
Tikka T3X action.
KRG Whiskey folding stock.
Spuhr mount, scope for this rifle i am not sure yet, what it will get, i have few plans.
Trigger is also open, i have few good options.
Here is the shaft, it arrived yesterday.

On the Vector, yes... and I wish I would have gone Mediums like with the Tikka, as I cannot get scope caps on. Might be looking to see if someone wants to trade.

What kinda scope caps? Butler Creek? Looks like you have room to put it on, but difficult to tell from photo...and the fact that you said you couldn't lol.

20MOA rail on the Vector?

I ask because i ordered a Terminus Zeus with 30moa rail. Planning to use either 3-18 razor HD Gen2 or possibly 4-20 ZCO. Low rings look nice but useless if it don't fit.

Also plan on using MTU bbl profile...so i may need to go medium or Spuhr mount.

I would definitely go mediums. I cannot get butler creek to go on at all. But, you may still be close with a 30moa rail, and an MTU.
