Precision Rifles.....show em!!

That is indeed a beautiful rifle. Is that stock from Voere also or....? I see wood, laminate, and chassis on their site but not a stock (carbon fiber) like this one.

Hi and thank you very much!

Yes it's a factory stock from Voere. They sell a carbon stock with AR style Pistol grip too!

I'm also looking to build my first bolt gun and was considering a lot of the same components. Might need to pick your brain a little!

My .308 Savage Model 10 Precision Carbine in an Oryx stock. Accutrigger set at 2lbs. Old Leupold VX-3 (Not a VX-3i) with Varmit Hunters Reticle, Warne Rings, Harris HBRM Bipod, MDT 10rd steel mags. This was best group I’ve ever shot with this rifle. I was using 175gr XM118LR ammo. The other 3 shots are from my .308 Armalite AR10 TAC18.

So this is my first "personal build" I've built a few sniper rifles for work, which were REM actions and AI chassis. This is a Defiance Tactical in 300 WM, Bartlein barrel, Manners stock, Steiner M5Xi 5X25, Badger rings . This was my first bedding job and it did turn out pretty good, however it was alot of work. The stock was inletted for a REM LA action and a REM sendero/varmint barrel, however I did have to do quite of bit fitting in the barrel channel area, which was unexpected. I changed out the DBM from Seekins to Accurate last minute, which required more "fitting". It's not perfect but I sure did learn alot. Big kudos to the folks at Cerakote for helping me match the paint for the scope, it's pretty dam close :) Cheers

My FX-Impact got some new glass. So my son and I went to the range to zero it.
Its a FX Impact PCP rifle in .25 caliber.
Delta Stryker HD 4.5-30x56 scope in a Spuhr ISMS mount. Scope caps is on the way in the mail.
Bipod is a Accu-Tac knock off, it will be replaced with an ATLAS CAL soon.

It shoots crazy good.

Latest one,

terminus Zeus
Ks 1:7 twist medium Palma 25 creed
Mpa comp chassis
Tt diamond
Heathen brake

In load development but looking extremely promising. Looks to be a node at 2900 ish with 131’s and 3000 ish with the 131’s but the 3000 has heavier bolt lift and ejector marks so won’t be shooting there. Hoping barrel will speed up still

Nice! What is this safety flag thingie and can you have one for CTR or M10 mag?
Maybe like this.... bolt cord is an option:

Flagazine in Ireland makes those for TRG M10 and CTR.

Thanks, I’ve learned a lot from this build- from bedding an action, to hand loading ammo. It took an Elk last year as well.

MPA Production, with Leupold’s VX3 Gold Ring (it was the scope I had sitting in the safe and Brenda Lea is not so pleased with the idea of another scope purchase. (Being very, very close to the D-1 number of rifle purchases) (but I think she liked the rifle)

Both rifles chambered by Jon Beanland
Defiance Deviant Tactical actions
Bartelein Marksman and M24, 4-groove barrels, chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor
Surgeon DBMs
McMillan A5 with KMW hardware
Tangent Theta scopes in Seekins rings
Jewel triggers set at 1 lb.

I only use factory Hornady ammo. 140gr, ELD-M. I have no need to hand load, which is great. They both shoot in the teens at 100 yards. Three-shot groups that are 0.12 – 0.18 MOA on the reg. and 5-shotters are 1/4 MOA. First-round hits out to 1,000 yards on 1-minute targets are routine.

That's 0.12 MOA! :)

Mine! It’s all for purpose so nothing fancy. If it does not affect accuracy or usability it’s pointless for me. Tikka needs a new scope but somehow I lost my hobby funds.. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Tikka T3 CTR .260rem with @ejg stock

Sako TRG M10 .338lm

My girlfriend (who was anti gun when we first met) now owns her own precision rifle. This was taken while we were waiting for the scope to arrive. Ruger Precision Rifle in .243 seemed like a good started for her.

How do you like the Xylo chassis? Did you trim the grip to fit your hand or did you leave it like how it came?

Exceeding expectations currently. I got in on the shot-show pricing, so for $899 the value curve is high. I bought the new large size grips when they hit their website a few weekends ago. I wear XL size gloves for awareness.

But I haven't had to shave them down, and love the raw walnut:
